TJKS MEDIA AND AEROSPACE, INC. PRIVACY POLICY

TJKS Media and Aerospace, Inc. (“TJKS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and handled when you use TJKS Radio, the TJKS Radio mobile application, tjksradio.com, TJKS Travels, the TJKS Live Flight Tracker, Entertainment Wire, Open Mic, Chat/Shoutouts, Song Alerts, and other TJKS digital services that link to this Privacy Policy.

  1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information simply to listen to TJKS Radio.

However, some TJKS features may allow you to voluntarily provide information. Examples may include contact information submitted through forms, email, WhatsApp, or other communication methods; song requests, shoutouts, chat messages, feedback, or other messages; audio recordings or files submitted through Open Mic or upload features; and information submitted when entering contests, promotions, advertising inquiries, artist submissions, or other TJKS programs.

  1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you use TJKS websites, apps, or online services, certain technical information may be processed automatically by TJKS or third-party service providers. This may include device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, general usage information, page or feature interactions, and technical information necessary to provide or improve the service.

TJKS may also use cookies or similar technologies on its websites to support functionality, analytics, preferences, security, and site performance.

  1. MOBILE APP PERMISSIONS

The TJKS Radio mobile application may request device permissions only when needed for specific features. These may include notification permission for station notifications and Song Alerts; microphone permission for Open Mic or other recording features; file or media access when you choose to upload content; and internet access to stream TJKS Radio and connect to online services.

Users may control app permissions through their device settings.

  1. SONG ALERTS AND NOTIFICATIONS

TJKS Radio allows users to create Song Alerts and receive notifications when selected music is detected as playing.

Song Alert preferences may be stored locally on the user’s device and may include the selected artist, song title, and whether the alert is enabled.

Notifications require permission from the user’s device and may not function if notification permissions or background-service permissions are disabled.

  1. OPEN MIC, UPLOADS, CHAT, AND USER CONTENT

If you voluntarily submit audio recordings, files, messages, shoutouts, comments, or other content through TJKS services, that information may be received, reviewed, stored, or used for the purpose for which it was submitted.

Users should not submit confidential or sensitive personal information through public or interactive features.

Content submitted for broadcast, publication, promotion, or consideration may be reviewed by TJKS personnel.

  1. STREAMING AND MEDIA SERVICES

TJKS Radio connects to third-party streaming infrastructure and internet services in order to deliver live audio, song metadata, album artwork, recently played information, and related media functionality.

These third-party providers may process technical information according to their own privacy practices.

  1. ENTERTAINMENT WIRE AND EXTERNAL CONTENT

TJKS may display entertainment headlines, images, articles, or links provided by third-party publishers or content providers.

When you leave a TJKS service and visit another website, that third party’s privacy policy and terms apply.

  1. TJKS TRAVELS AND AFFILIATE LINKS

TJKS Travels may provide links to third-party travel services, including flights, hotels, tours, cruises, rental cars, vacation services, and other travel products.

Some links may be affiliate or referral links. TJKS may receive compensation if a user completes a qualifying purchase or booking through certain links.

Travel providers are responsible for their own booking systems, payment processing, personal-data practices, and privacy policies.

  1. LIVE FLIGHT TRACKER

The TJKS Live Flight Tracker may display aviation information provided by external data providers, including flight status, routes, aircraft information, airport information, and related tracking data.

Flight searches and tracker interactions may be processed through third-party aviation or mapping services necessary to provide the requested information.

  1. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS

TJKS may link to outside services for merchandise, donations, travel bookings, or other purchases.

Payment information is generally processed by the applicable third-party payment or commerce provider. TJKS does not necessarily receive or store complete payment-card information.

  1. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Information may be used to provide TJKS Radio streaming and app functionality; deliver notifications and Song Alerts; respond to questions, requests, messages, and submissions; operate Open Mic, uploads, chat, travel, entertainment, and tracker features; maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve TJKS services; communicate important service or policy updates; operate promotions, advertising, sponsorships, artist submissions, or other business services; comply with legal obligations; and protect TJKS, our users, and our services.

  1. INFORMATION SHARING

TJKS does not sell personal information for money.

Information may be shared with service providers or partners when reasonably necessary to operate TJKS services, process a user-requested action, comply with law, protect rights or safety, or complete a business transaction involving TJKS.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies.

  1. DATA RETENTION

TJKS may retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to operate our services, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, or protect legitimate business interests.

For artist submissions and Artist Spotlight promotions, public-facing archived feature material may be retained for up to 12 months after the active promotional period ends. At the end of that archive period, TJKS may remove the public archive entry and delete or purge nonessential promotional materials, including duplicate artwork, promotional copies, screenshots, and other files that are no longer needed.

Some artist-related records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary, including signed broadcast authorizations or consent forms, payment and accounting records, tax-related records, records needed to address disputes or legal claims, and other records TJKS is required or permitted to keep for legal, contractual, security, or legitimate business purposes.

Certain preferences stored locally within the TJKS Radio app may remain on the user’s device until the user clears them, removes the app, or changes the applicable settings.

  1. SECURITY

TJKS uses reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information under our control.

However, no internet transmission, mobile application, website, server, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

TJKS services are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law.

If TJKS becomes aware that personal information from a child has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how personal information is handled.

You may also control certain privacy choices through your browser, device permissions, notification settings, and third-party service settings.

  1. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights related to access, correction, deletion, and information concerning the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information.

TJKS will respond to verified privacy requests as required by applicable law.

  1. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

TJKS websites and applications may contain links to third-party websites, applications, stores, social networks, travel providers, streaming services, mapping services, payment services, and other online resources.

TJKS is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services. Users should review the privacy policies of those providers.

  1. FITNESS, WORKOUT & WELLNESS DATA

TJKS Workout and related app or wearable features may use information you choose to provide or generate while using those features, such as weight, selected workout mode, workout duration, timer activity, distance or mileage goals, pace selections, estimated calories burned, active minutes, and similar fitness or wellness information.

Some fitness values displayed by TJKS Workout are calculated estimates based on information you provide and your use of the feature. Depending on the platform and features you enable, certain workout or wearable information may be processed on your device and/or through services required to provide, synchronize, or restore the feature.

If TJKS Workout later integrates with Apple Health, HealthKit, Google Health Connect, or another health or fitness platform, access to supported health or fitness information will require the permissions provided by that platform. TJKS will request only the permissions needed for the features you choose to use. Health or fitness information obtained through such integrations will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable platform requirements.

TJKS does not use fitness or wellness information to provide medical diagnosis or treatment. TJKS does not sell health or fitness information to advertisers. You may choose not to provide optional fitness information or may decline platform permissions, although some related features may then be unavailable or less accurate.

19A. TJKS INSIDER EMAIL SUBSCRIPTIONS

TJKS Insider is an optional email-subscription service. If you subscribe, TJKS may collect and store the email address you provide, your optional name, the update categories you select, your subscription status, confirmation and unsubscribe tokens, and related subscription timestamps or administrative records.

TJKS uses this information to process and verify your subscription, send the categories of email updates you selected, provide Policy & Service Notices when that category is selected, manage subscription preferences and unsubscribe requests, maintain reasonable records, prevent abuse, and support the security and operation of the subscription service.

A new TJKS Insider subscription is placed into a pending status until the confirmation link sent to the subscriber’s email address is used. This confirmation process helps verify that the email address owner intended to subscribe.

TJKS Insider emails may include station updates, New Artist Spotlight information, policy or service notices, aviation-community updates, travel and flight-tool updates, and special events or promotions, depending on the categories selected by the subscriber. TJKS does not require a TJKS Insider subscription merely to listen to TJKS Radio or browse the general website.

Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in TJKS Insider emails. TJKS may retain a limited record of an unsubscribed address, subscription status, timestamps, or related identifiers where reasonably necessary to honor the unsubscribe request, prevent unwanted re-mailing, maintain operational records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

Email delivery may involve hosting, mail-delivery, security, or other service providers that process information as necessary to deliver and operate the service. TJKS does not sell TJKS Insider subscriber information for money.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

TJKS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements change.

When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy will be revised.
